We are delighted to announce Thermos UK’s new online presence went live earlier this month. Our team designed and developed the Magento 2 eCommerce site after a period of market research and psychological insight into the Thermos competitive environment and the customer profiles of this well-loved, English heritage brand.
Understanding the psychology of the Thermos customer base and the relationship they have with the brand was an essential building block of the whole marketing strategy we created. Nick Kime MD, at Thermos UK, said...
“The new website is a huge step forward for Thermos UK as we look to enhance the brand. The Laws of Attraction team took the time to gain valuable insight into our target audience to really understand our brand direction and strategy. We look forward to seeing the reaction from our customers, partners and the industry”
As a long-established and well-recognised family brand, using our psychological insight market research model enabled us to focus the websites design and user experience to suit their long-standing and loyal customer base. As well as looking to attract some new customers such as festivalgoers and younger, environmentally focused consumers. Resulting in an online presence that’s attractive and easy to use for all.
Graham Forbes, Laws of Attraction Creative Director said...
“With the creation of a contemporary, responsive website complete with a feature-packed online store, Thermos now has an online presence in the UK to match its rich and proud heritage. The design of the site is deliberately minimal with plenty of clean, white space punctuated by authentic lifestyle images and beautiful product shots. The vintage Thermos pattern has been used subtlety to lead the eye, and a new icon language has been developed to communicate the core range. The addition of an Instagram feed on the homepage will ensure their story reaches a younger audience, while the timeline should appeal to customers who fondly recall the brand as a trusted campsite companion.”
In the initial stages of the strategy, our creative team also undertook a lifestyle photoshoot which provided the creative direction ahead of undertaking the design of the site.
