Leeds Team Ministry
Simon had an office in Leeds opposite Leeds Minster and became friends with the Verger Iain Howell who asked him to rebrand his church. Whilst embarking on this project Simon realised the church needed support with a number of internal communications issues concerning the clergy, volunteers and paid workers so that they could work together more effectively. There were also opportunities to monetise the space by renting it out to businesses. Simon also helped to produce videos to help with the communication plan for the newly launched Arts@Trinity Community Arts Centre at the Holy Trinity Church in Leeds. Arts@Trinity is now a thriving entertainment hub for the community, charity and businesses. Simon spent considerable time understanding the revenue model of the church and saw that all money collected was recycled back out into charitable projects that supported the community. His insight was bolstered when he met an accountant who was volunteering at the time called Lee Marshall. Lee and Simon reminded friends and Lee is now a director at RSM accountants and represents Laws of Attraction. It really is all about relationships.
